Most rural parts of Ethiopia that are crossed by highways impede road traffic as few individuals intentionally or unintentionally harm traffic signs. It has become a usual phenomenon to see signs installed to facilitate vehicular traffic thereby avoiding possible accident missed or damaged. Reinstalling signs looks like a greater headache of federal and state administration bodies mandated with the maintenance of highways.

After reaching a consensus for an agreement that will be signed on October 1, 2013, with the Ministry of Industry (MoI), George Shoe Corporation – a Taiwanese factory engaged in the manufacturing of leather shoes – is planning to construct three shoe factories. Based in Mojjo, Adama and Addis Abeba, the factories will come at an outlay of 50 million dollars.
