Consolidated Efforts Underway to meet Schedule for Tana Beles Sugar Development

The Ethiopian Sugar Corporation, the Amhara Regional State and the Jawi People have been exerting a consolidated effort to meet schedule for Tana Beles Integrated Sugar Development Project.

 In briefing Federal and Regional officials who visited the project last week, Abay Tsehaye, Director General of Sugar Corporation in the rank of minister, said that consolidated effort has been exerted to finalize project within its time schedule.

 The Director General appreciated the industrious project workers who have been working day in day out overcoming various rural area challenges.

 “The late PM Meles Zenawi has given a unique attention to this project in his life time,” Abay said, “Premier Meles had been playing a crucial management role in facilitating the project.” 

Chief of The Amhara Regional State, Ayalew Gobeze, on his behalf said the regional state has been cooperating with the Sugar Corporation so as to finalize the project in its time schedule.
