Ayka Addis Executing Massive Expansion Activities

President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mulatu Teshome has expressed government’s readiness to providing the necessary support to Ayka Addis Textile & Investment Group PLC in the latter’s endeavors to expand its activities in the country.

Ambassador Dr. Mulatu received and held talks with company owner and board chair Yusuf Aydeniz on Thursday at his Presidential palace.

The President said the government will provide the necessary support to Ayka Textile which he said is one of those companies widely engaged in the country thereby creating considerable employment opportunities to citizens.

Mr. Yusuf said Ayka Textile is currently engaged in massive expansion activities which are expected to create 40 to 50 thousand additional jobs to Ethiopians.

He said the success story of the company is attracting quite a lot of Turkish investors to Ethiopia. Mr. Yusuf on the occasion congratulated Ambassador Dr. Mulatu over his recent election as head of state.
