AMLF Participants Say Impressed By Infrastructure Development In Ethiopia
Participants of the 6th African Media Leaders Forum (AMLF) held in Addis Ababa for two days said they are impressed by the infrastructure development they witnessed in Addis Ababa and the fast economic growth registered in the country.
After visiting the National Museum, the new AU building and Metal and Engineering Corporation, the participants said the infrastructure development that the country has been undertaking showed the fast economic growth registered in the nation.
Umar Dawd, a Nigerian journalist said he found the situation in the ground far different from what he thought about Ethiopia. He said the fast economic growth registered in Ethiopia is exemplary in the non-oil countries.
Mohamed Musa, a Somali journalist on his part said the City of Addis Ababa has changed since his last visit to the City five years ago. He said the infrastructure development carried out in five years displayed the commitment and cooperation between the people and government of Ethiopia towards development.
Unlike other African countries, Ethiopia is committed to implement its policies and strategies designed to register development said Ali Kabre, a Burkina Faso public relation professional.
According to him, the construction of condominium houses, roads and other infrastructures in the capital city displayed the country's bright future.
