The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (Amharic: ህዳሴ ግድብ? Hidāse Gēdīb ), formerly known as the Millennium Dam and sometimes referred to as Hidase Dam, is an under-construction gravity dam on the Blue Nile River in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo), which is totally government owned autonomous agency and administered by a Management Board, is the project executing institution for Gibe III Hydroelectric Project.
