Services

Building Construction

Since its establishment in 1978, Universal Construction has, in various parts of the country, constructed commercial buildings, hotels, villas, apartments embassies, hospitals, clinics, health centers, laboratories, stores and warehouses, schools, seed processing plants, coffee washing stations, and other industrial buildings. However, in recent years, the company has directed its focus towards the construction of low to mid-rise buildings.

Waterproofing

Universal Construction specializes in the waterproofing of all forms of concrete and stone masonry structures such as roofs, terraces, basements, foundations, water reservoirs, swimming pools and fountains and is the exclusive Ethiopia distributor and applicator of Xypex waterproofing material. Universal Construction now enjoys a fair share of the local waterproofing market and has undertaken hundreds of waterproofing projects throughout the country.

Elevator Installation and Maintenance

Universal Construction also specializes in the installation and maintenance of elevators, escalators and moving walks, and is the sole Ethiopia distributor of ThyssenKrupp Elevator.

Machinery Rental

Universal Construction provides construction machinery rental services both on a long-term and short-term basis. These machineries range from light to heavy weight, and can be utilized in building construction and road projects.

Property Valuation and Assessment

Universal Construction also gives services in the areas of cost estimation of proposed new projects and valuation of existing properties.
