ABOUT THE FIRM
MAN General Contractor is a construction firm which is headquartered in Addis Ababa Arada sub city, Kebele 18, House No 736 and engaged in different construction and maintenance projects at various regions in Ethiopia being inspired by the opportunity that is given by the government so as to build the capacity of firms like ours. The projects are well equipped and set to satisfy project requirements and provide for local participation and experience. The headquarter serves as technical support and supply with the expertise; efficiency and capacity to handle complex projects and thus augment the capabilities of the project offices and affiliates.
MAN General Contractor, since its establishment, has managed to undertake several projects and all projects have been successfully accomplished while some are ongoing. In its period of experience the company is gaining the confidence of its clients through the provision of sound and reliable professional services.

Registration
MAN General Contractor is a private limited company registered locally with the FDRE-Addis Ababa City Administration Trade and industry development Bureau under trade License number 01/3/3/07128/97. Its professional practicing license from Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, construction works coordinating Bureau is under category-I, Registration no. CON/2615. The firm has TIN certificate given from Federal Inland Revenue Authority TIN No 318926. And also registered in accordance with VAT proclamation No. 285/2002 and was issued VAT registration No. of 26181. The firm has renewed its entire trade license for the current fiscal year (2005 E.C)
Organizational setup
MAN General Contractor: over 100 permanent staff with a core of 12 qualified professional Civil Engineers, Building Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, professional surveyors, AutoCAD Experts and other various disciplines. These teams are supported by a comprehensive array of managerial, business, financial and administrative staff. Their expertise enables the firm to offer clients a scope of services tailored to the operating requirements of different regions, different regions, different cultures and environmental conditions.
MAN General Contractor staff is familiar with prevailing international standards and local regulatory codes. The educational and academic background of the staff being multi-cultural has provided the firm with an integrated and diversified resource enabling it to develop and expand its services and office network.

Personnel setup and deployment at Head Office
MAN General Contractor has two main departments (Building and Road departments) in its organization set up which are managed by professional Engineers. The overall activity of the company and each department is headed by the general manager and department heads. These departments are responsible to specific services in their stream and are assisted by a panel of specialists in various disciplines.
