Background

Ahmed Nuredin Abdella General Import and Export Company was established 30 years ago as a family business. Starting with a small retail shop for ready-made cloths, it has now grown in to one of the most renowned import and export companies in Ethiopia.

ANA's mission is to develop a value oriented international business with mutual benefit to all parties involved. We believe in growing together and practice the principle of fair business in all our dealings.

Distribution

ANA impex operates from its head office in Addis Ababa, which is the commercial center of Ethiopia. It has two warehouses used for stocking and distribution of imported products. Three wholesale officers handle the wholesale activity. We have also appointed distributors who handle our products in the other main cities of Ethiopia such as Nazareth, Awassa, Dire Dawa, Bahir Dar, Gondar and Mekele. We use various truck companies to handle our distribution throughout the country.

Products we Import:

• Plywood

Commercial Grade Plywood used for construction. We have various thicknesses ranging from 2.5 up to 8.0mm with standard size (1220 x 2440 mm)

• Hardboard

Brown Colored Hardboard useful for various construction purposes: 3.2 x 1220 x 2440 mm

• Chip wood

Commercial Grade Chip wood useful for various construction purposes: 7-9 x 1220 x 2440 mm

• Sawn timber

Pine Sawn timber used for construction. We have various thicknesses such as 25x200x400mm, 25x250x400mm, 25x300x400mm, 40x50x400mm, etc.

• Nails

Nails: various size Common Round Iron Wire Nails and EG roofing nails.

• Gypsum board

Common Gypsum board 1600mmx2000mm

• Ceramic wall tile

Common white ceramic wall tile

• Hack saw blade
• Steel pipes

We distribute various sizes of steel pipes.
